Football and Music?????

My maths teacher said the strangest thing today. I'm in a class with two others, and he made a reference to football. He then looked over at me, and said, 'oh, well you wouldn't know'. When I asked him why, he said, 'your a musician, you can't like music'....

I've always loved football, swimming, cricket e.t.c, and I know from some other posts other people are into sports, but is there a sterio type that says musicians can't like football????

Oh well, in my answer to him, I told him about a Robert Plant concert I went to where he kept us waiting in a horrible club whilst he watched Wolves loose...... My point wasn't proven, he didn't know who Robert Plant was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm a sports fan and a musician myself- sports and music usually doesn't match very well but one doesn't exclude the other- examples: bryan adams wrote a song for chelsea f.c. ( ), robbie williams plays soccer on stage, jon bon jovi has got a season ticket for giants stadium

How does this fit in with examples of musicians who like football???

Buckethead makes Karate demonstrations on stage and I think most of the musicians are also sportmen!!!
