Hi Drum,

OH NO MADDOX!!!!!!! I had another game on the radio, and it said what had happened. I recorded NE late night game and have been able to see the accident today. Like they said it didnt look that bad but I could see what went on. It sounds like he will be ok thank God. I think they said he will be back in a month. Hope he recovers soon.

Glad about HS , did their very best and thats what counts.

Hello Mr Mongoose,

Most English men feel the way you have expressed about nfl. That is until they go and watch an American football match, then they change their view. NFL is even a harder game than rugby. I enjoy soccer to, but mainly the International games(England).

I understand the confusion to why should it be called football when there isnt as much feet used in the nfl as the English football games(SOCCER!) Wonder where the name soccor came from?.

Would make more sense if it was called the American Rugby league!!!!!!

If you dont behave Mr Mongoose Im going to sack you to the ground!!!!! Something they cant do in english football!!!!!!!!

I love both games, one is not better than the other just different.

~Dawn~

Thank God Maddox was okay. I was worried when I saw the injury, but I take an athletic health care class and I from what I saw, I thought that it might be a minor injury. If there's swelling in the spinal cord you can temporarily lose feeling. It comes back once the swelling goes down. See, I want to be an athletic trainer someday when I get older. When I go to college, I want to major in Kinesiology. Good way for the not-so-athletically-inclined to keep around sports! I'm not at all built for sports! I'm a midget. Short and stocky. Not at all fat but I don't have that sleek build for athletics. I sure do love to watch them, though!

~Mongoose~

I understand what you're saying, man. I guess American football wasn't named so well. I really do love it, though. I personally can't get into soccer. Guess I just don't see it that much, being in the US and all.

Take care, guys.
