Hi

Okay Laura, let's for argument's sake say that foxes kill for fun. That then doesn't make you or the foxhunters any better than them, however, you don't really give them much of a chance do you??

You keep talking about anti-foxhunters taking the moral high ground, you are doing the same. Animals are not there for our amusement and for us to kill at will, they have as much rights to be here as we do.

It seems to me that you are saying that you (and I don't mean you personally!!) are protecting the chickens from the fox is also a bit hypocritical.. the chicken will be killed anyway and served on someone's table in the long run anyway...

if foxes kill for fun... fine in some darwinist way you might say humans kill for fun also (you are an example of this)... but hunt them without guns then...

just you and your bare fists, teeth... whatever... let's see who does best then

That would be fair, but still wrong. If you did it that way to catch the fox, or any other animal, because you where lost somewhere and starving, then fair enough, but not for fun.

Actually, how the hell can you call it fun?

Foxes dont kill for fun.

They bury their food and remember where it is buried for when they need it.

Fox Hunters are murderers.

I agree with you's. Laura im really starting to begin to doubt your sanity. Foxes kill for fun? yes this is after they have finnished reading the sun . God damm they aint humans they dont think of fun they survive on instinct and to say what you have so far shows just how uneducated you are on the topic. You do it so think you know it go run a search in yahoo and learn something. Oh yeah and before you reply with what do you know? - im a trained vet nurse!.

Hi

You are taking the moral high ground, so to speak, because you believe what you are doing is right. That goes for the anti-foxhunting people too. You are justifying the fact that you are killing animals. Animals who have done nothing to you, animals that are trying to survive in everyway they know how and animals that like us do have feelings and a soul. Before I get laughed at for that one... it is born, has instincts and dies.. as do we. We cannot be that arrogant to believe that we are the only thinking creature on the planet??

But anyway.. I think it is morally wrong to hunt. That doesn't mean I'm taking the moral high ground, it just means that within the morals I have I believe it is wrong to kill any living being. And no, I don't kill flies either.. well not intentionally anyway!! Does this make me a better person?? I don't know, but I do believe that it counts for something. Do I think that foxhunters are bad people?? Not necessarily, but I think it a shame that you have no regard for life and believe that you can, at will, end another creature's life. Like I have said before, they are not here for our amusement and they have every right to live and survive along side us, without the fear of getting their heads blown off.

Oscar Wilde once described fox hunting as "the unspeakable in pursuit of the inedible"
