Its quite sad, though, that you are glad a fellow human is dead just for his or her beliefs. Dangerous communist ideals don't do well in such a fascist world!

Goodnight all!
Sleep well!

I know I will!

And no hard feelings to any of you! I am not out to make enemies in this world, thought I fear I may have made one out of Joviscout, though I do hope not...

Sambora_Laura, how do you sleep at night after "hunting"? Knowing you've just killed an innocent animal, which did nothing to you, and seeing as you weren't hunting for food, what gives you the right to kill it.

Oh, and how old are you really?
I sleep very well at night, thankyou! The same as the foxes who killed the chickens for fun, to be precise!

And I refuse to reveal my real age- it's a matter of internet safety, and people have some real hangups about age. Too old to know what she's talking about, and vice versa.

Foxes dont kill for fun they kill for survival and instinct. And NO we dond have a hunters instinct we evolved beyond that centurys ago. And even if we did still have hunting instincts it would be hunting with sticks not on tha back oif a damm horse. And how could you pity someone who cares? honestly not trying to be nasty but genuine you truly need to get your head read!.

You have not made a enimy out of me. I enjoy debating and this is something i strongly beleive in. And as for the above post i have the right sor free speech and have took one for actions as well. If i saw a hunter i would shoot him with his own gun, where would depend on what mood i was in.

Hi

Where did you hear that foxes kill for fun? As far as I know there are 2 mammels that kill for fun; humans and cats. A fox killing a chicken is just doing what comes naturally and is finding food whether for itself or for its young.

I really don't know how people can go hunting and I really cannot see a sport in it. Chasing after an animal and then blowing its brains out, must be a hoot. A sport is when the 2 sides are equal, how can one with a gun be equal to a smaller animal with nothing to defend itself?

Laura, you say that its okay to hunt foxes because a fox kills chickens and such. Has it ever occured to you that we humans are invading its territory? If we weren't farming and cultivating land the way we do, the foxes would stay where they are. We Humans seem to have such an arrogance about us, if nature doesn't do what we want, we feel that it is our God given right to change it and anyway they are only animals, right? It's the same with the culling of badgers or other creatures, just let nature take its course. It really is not natural having a hound chasing after and traumatising a fox, I'm afraid I don't see just chasing them only on horses as any better.
I can't see anything to justify foxhunting and I think its sick that it is still allowed in this day and age.

Laura, this is no personal attack, just my humble opinion!!

I only asked because I wondered how old you really are, as to why you go fox hunting.

It seems that most people who participate in such barbaric acts are older than middle aged, and don't have as strong of a moral consience. They believe it is OK to kill the animals.

And as far as I would think, a fox would kill chickens for food...to survive, not for fun.

I think some people are only against hunting because they don't like the sort of people who participate in it. Similarly, I think lots of people are against a war in Iraq just because it is the Americans who want to start it.

In answer to a few of the "foxes don't kill for fun", I Beg to differ, they do and they will. Also, they mame sheep for fun, but this is less comon than the killing of chickens. Sometimes, yes, they do kill for food; of course they do, but the majority of the time, they are bored, and a chicken is as appealing to a fox as an Eddie Izzard gig on a Saturday night. Trust me, I've been arguing this case for years, I am pretty sure of my facts.

And sure that I will never win, and will rarely be backed up as well! The moral high ground is what it is, and cannot be challenged or defeated. That I do not deny, but that will never stop me and my fellow hunters trying our damndest not to have protesters ruin our hunts (they never have yet! They're actually quite friendly sometimes...)
