Also negotiating and telling them that there is a possibility IF they clean up their act can also work as a good motivator and might help them act quicker, which would be better for them.

they're a country not a child.

if they don;t feel the need to get a grip of themselves apart from when a lucrative opportunity comes along then they shouldn't be afforded that opportunity in my honest opinion.

FACT - Turkey has no human-rights
FACT - they're murderous scum
FACT - they all smell bad
FACT - would rather sleep in my own vomit than share a street with a turk.

sorry to put anyone off thier food...

I just don't like it when they think they can grab my ass in the subway - had to chase one down the street and I swear I'd have killed him if he wasn't so ****ing fast...... but that is a different story.

Loved going there though I don't like the food.

Am I right thinking this comes from the fact an english football fan was stabbed by a Turk before/during/after a game a few years ago?

im not generalising a whole nation on the basis of their football team, but seriously the team are fu<king scum, and the fans too. anyone see the news 2wks ago, a referee had a KNIFE thrown at him during a match!like wtf. the fans are ALWAYS rioting, and i mean rioting - people get killed all the time, and thats not an exaggeration.

and yes then theres the bigger issues, some serious descrimination going on over there. and the country is bordering on 3rd world in some areas that the government just neglects. im all up for change and progreess, but this country is in no fit state to join.

What an awful thread this is!!

As of now, I wouldn't like Turkey to join, because I don't think they meet the standards required of them - and also when they do, they should be well consolidated. But apart from that I think any other kind of distinction (smelling bad and all those things that were said) is just plain racism

dirty, cheating, stinking, violent, murderous, revolting, mutated cvnt scum.

if my views make me reacist then so be it, infact, good.

peter can you change the spamaholic thing to 'racist cunt' it has more of an angle to it...

and this is by far the most intresting thread on JT since the last time sambo-chris made a mistake.
