Gawwwd!

I just heard from the drug company (MS lifelines) yesterday.
They have the paperwork they need and they faxed it over to some pharmacy (I can't remember the name).
Then the man said, that I should hear from the nurse in about a week. They have to see if the IC will approve the drug or not.

In the meantime, my eyes get all screwy when I'm tired, I'm feeling a constant tingling down my spine and in my hands. And lets not even mention the way I walk.

The longer this goes on, the more afraid I get. I know the longer the MS goes on untreated, the more damage it can do.


I am so freaking depressed about this, it ain't even funny.

Aw, I know it must be hard, but you have to try and think about it as little as possible! And I'm sure you're going to be fine after all. It'll just take time till you really "accept" the new situation!

But, please, when you want to say something: moan, vent, whatever... Remember we're all here to listen to you!

thanks, it's just today I've been really upset.
In the shower today, I don't know how to explain it but the sensation of the water falling on me felt weird...dull...the water was hot..but I couldn't feel the warmth. Add that to the fact that I can barely walk...anyhow

I got so upset, that I spent ten minutes on the floor of the shower crying.

Have you looked into some kind of support group? I'm sure people with similar experiences would be able to help you lots!

I really don't know what you're going through, so whatever I may say is going to sound terribly empty. But it saddens me to imagine you crying alone. So, honestly, if there's something I can do, just let me know. In the meantime, my thoughts are with you.
