Well said Choc !!! You could try something new ... Something you would like. I have my exam on Monday, September 1st ... God, I'm already nervous cause I really want to pass ! If I don't, I'll do my year over again cause I like what I study but it would be very depressing to do my year over again for 1 subject !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At September 11th (what a date !!!) I'll get my results. School starts again at the 15th ...

Cross your fingers, toes, legs, ... for me

exams r an indication of who can remember what they've read out of a book, always remember that.

in my philosophy class i was really the only person who got everything completely and both my teachers were always saying how great i was at it and that i had a natural ability at it.

come exam trime the stupidest person our class who's most poigniant remark she made after discussing 9/11 was "we should line all the arabs up and shoot them" fell sick just before the exam and had weeks off of school. all she did was read the books and she managed to get the same mark as me which was higher than everyone elses even though she didn't have a clue what she was actually writing about in the exam.

Joey, its not all doom and gloom dont worry, have you thought about doing an intermediate GNVQ in something which is only a year long (and its worth 5 GCSE's) and you only have to do one subject, after that you can go onto advanced ones and HND's/Degrees if u wanted to.

Intermediate GNVQ is 4 GCSEs. I feel kinda awkward posting my results here now, but, um....

English Language - A*
French - A
History - A
ICT GNVQ (worth 4 GCSEs) - Distinction (equivalent to 4 A grades)
English Literature - A*
Maths - A
Media Studies - A*
Music - A
Science - Double A

Remember that a D/E isn't actually a failure, they still count and you still get certificates for them. There are also loads of courses out there which you can do AND mean something which don't have requirements.
