Remember that a D/E isn't actually a failure, they still count and you still get certificates for them. There are also loads of courses out there which you can do AND mean something which don't have requirements.

the better your grades the harder you fall. don't get too complacent about anything. i think the best bet is to go to college and do the music technology course you wanted to do. then at the same time at college if want re-take a subject or two. usually it's english and maths they ask you to re-take. it's completely different as you are now in a college environment and it does not feel like school so much.

i don't want to devalue everyone's efforts but exams aren't all that important. if you're talented in what you want to do you can do it. don't let stupid alphabets on a piece of paper get in the way.

got some real smart mofo's here it would seem.

when i foned up ucas today to see wot i cud do about my college lying to me and realised i'd forgotten how decent my grades were from school.

got 4 1's and 42's for standard grade

an A and B at intermediate 2

and 2 A's and 2 B's at higher

and an advanced higher module in guitar naturally

And to all the rest who passed. Well done...im proud of all you guys as well....go out and have a great time tonight. In years to come, you will look back on and hopefully think what a great day it was. I certainly did when I passed mine. Dont get too drunk now people...most of you are still under-age remember!
