Default German Speakers? Killepitsch?

My dad got a gift of an alcoholic drink from Germany. We don't have a clue what it is, can anyone translate the below?

Does it say what to drink with it or is it supposed to be drunk on its own?

Killepitsch.

As far as my German goes is just a standard description of the drink.

"A Dusseldorfer speciality. This drink is made out of natural resources blablabla".

This is dialect and says: a real Dusseldorf speciality.

That's just a description of the drink and says:
This liqueur is made of natural resources only: extracts of more than 90 herbs and fruits ripen in old clay jars and give our "Killepitsch" its fine-tart flavour.

you're supposed to drink it after a really "heavy" meal (such as Eisbein, although that kind of foof doesn't exist anywhere else )... it kind of eases your stomach (well not really but they want you to believe that )

I just found this:

The Killepitsch Story
A true story of a real
Düsseldorfer speciality.

It was during the last war (WW II) ? Two old friends, Hans and Willy, were sitting, as they often did, in the air-raid shelter (Luftschutzkeller) while outside the bombs were falling. »Hans«, said Willy, »if it continues like this then they’re going to kill us, too.«

Hans answered, »I don’t think so, Willy, as long as we have two more shots left to »pitsch« (drink).« »Where are we going to get a shot to pitsch, if we are out of booze« Willy asked. »Astonished, Hans exclaims, »What, out of booze! But you are making it yourself.« Hans, how can I make booze, if the Nazis don’t let us have anymore alcohol? I tell you one thing, Hans, if we survive this, if they don’t kill us, then I’m going to make you some booze like you never had before. Then we’ll have our shot, and we’re gonna call it »Killepitsch«.«

And so the name »Killepitsch« was born...in an air-raid shelter. Willy kept his promise and after the war was over, he spent years experimenting and blending more than 90 fruits, berries and herbs.

Finally, in 1955, the first Killepitsch was ready. When Willy served the first shot of Killepitsch to Hans, he was overwhelmed. We think you will be too. Try it for yourself.
A taste of old Düsseldorf ? Killepitsch
