run MSCONFIG, look from "startup" tab, whatever causes them popups might be lurking there. If u locate it, preventing it starting is as easy as removing mark from its line. IT can also be something that is running as service, but I think that's bit more difficult to locate.

I have tried all that, the programs and everthing, constantly going into task manager looking for anything suspicious, and still can't find it anywhere. Plus I keep getting popups from AVG saying it's found a new trojan but when I run the search it can't find it
