Yes, it's you that she digs, but there's obviously something about you or something you do that makes her like you. (I'm not saying that it's your fault that she's obsessed with you)
I don't know if you're really an absolute arsehole but you're not an absolute arsehole to her. You're hoping that she'll eventually go away by just ignoring her but she's obviously not getting your message that way, that's why she keeps texting and calling you. She's could be in her own fantasy world now, thinking that one day you'll end up liking her and one day you'll see all the effort she's put into making you notice. And so she keeps texting you everyday. If you're a complete arsehole to her then you'd be telling her off everytime you see her and saying rude comments to her everytime you see her, if you did that I don't think she'd still be obsessed with you. But you didn't, so she's might not even know that you don't like her. So make sure that she really get the point that you don't like her.

beside killing her I'm pretty much out of ideas and this interweb thingy we've got going here has everything from porn to porn and a bit of bon jovi so i reckon i may find an answer here.

jim id love to help as ive had a similar situation and i know how annoying it is - theres this retarded spoilt brat who started at my 6th form last year and wouldnt leave me and a few other girls alone, hed touch and molest ppl all the time, and hed sulk whenever a girl turned him down - there wasnt a lot we could do cos whenever u tried to tell him that u didnt fancy him he didnt care or didnt even seem to understand. one time he had been trying to "tickle" me and i said "please stop that cos i dont like it" and he was really pissed off and i said "sorry but just cos u want to touch me like that doesnt mean i want you to. sometimes ppl dont have the same feelings as u and u shld respect them, u cant get your own way all the time," and he got into a sulk and was going "but i want my own way! your feelings dont matter!" and i ended up talking to him like he was 5 yrs old - "ollie, other ppl have feelings, and they can get hurt. you wouldnt like it if someone hurt your feelings, would you? so dont hurt others'..." - cos he was acting like a 5-yr-old (and he does most of the time too) and he still carried on creeping up on me and touching me, and it was painful cos he touches u really roughly and he seems to have sharp fingertips or fingernails or something sharp on the end of his fingers, so in the end i stopped being polite and told him to **** off. that he understood. a few times since that hes been annoying again, and weve just kicked him in the balls (sounds harsh but thats all he deserves, the spoilt little shite!) and it makes him go away.
ball-kicking isnt really an option for u as its a woman not a man, but try telling her to leave u alone either politely or rudely, and if it doesnt work, switch to the other one. hopefully youll find a way of telling her that works.

If she grabs you and says but I can make you like me, you say , why would I ever like someone who is obviously so desparate, look elsewhere lady. bye and walk away. Crushing yes, but she has no right to hound you, however I wonder if you secretly find it flattering and dont tell her to leave you alone in a serious manner. If you tell anyone to leave you alone while yo uare laughing or smiling the wrong signals can be given.

she probably saw that you were flattered at first t, this then gave her more gusto to carry on. It doesnt take much to lead people on just a smile.

Why are you texting her back ? If you are not interested in her , then tell her once to her face and then thats it do not respond to her again, she will give up soon enough. To keep texting her is a response, doesnt matter about the contents, just that you bothered to reply and she will concentrate on that. Ignore her texts and if she approachs you then tell her you are busy, walk away , ignore her.

we're not talking flattered doing cartwheels down the street here. i mean I thought that was nice. i didn't do anything to further that and I don't reply to her. I haven't for about 2 months and even before that it was just to be civil but still it goes on.

She's not actually asked me out or anything she's just kinda like hinting and baiting hoping i do it or something. I dunno it's just so obvious you cant imagine.
