Default Gibralter is undoubtabley British

The spanish prime minister complained last week that tony Blair the British prime minister has refused to consider holding joint talks on Joint sovereignty over Gibralter. Prime minister Jose Maria Aznar claimed that "the prime minister of Britain Mr Blair should overule the people of Gibralter and ignore the referendum result of last year.
(talk about being fascist)

sidepoint
Madrid capital of Spain has never removed any of generalissmo Franco's statues in the public areas where they were erected? why?
What are the spanish people afraid of?

Where in Madrid have you been? I live there and I can tell you there's not one statue of Franco standing. Even if the gvt allowed, people would throw it down, so there you go!

Why don't you check your facts before you write them?????

Re Gibraltar. Well, you know they want independence from Britain

Default The staues are in the miltary barracks!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I will be more clearer, a lot of Gen Franco's statues are situated in the Madrid military and police force barracks. it was many years ago -80's that i saw them but I was talking to a spanish policeman in Barcelona last year(during world police and fire events) who said they were still there and not destroyed.

Gibralter = British
Falklands = British

personally i support Morroco in it;s attempts to get back Ceula and Melilla.

Never seen them or heard about them in my life. Must be private property. Franco is hated in Catalonia now and I don't see anyone supporting them, not even the police.

As for Morocco or Gibraltar or the Flaklands. My opinion is that they're plots of land. But Ceuta and Melilla are better off with us than with them, though. You don't happen to have heard about the problems going on in Morocco, right?

This said. I'm leaving for today. I don't want to read any more of your rubbish. If you're against anything Spanish great for you, but why do you have to come here and boast about it just to bother other people? I don't get it!

The only thing that annoys me when it comes to Gibraltar and Spain are the long and strict controlls when you leave Gibraltar back to Spain. They look into every bag and controll the complete car. This is called EU where there originally aren't any borders anymore .

But, you see, he'll love anything that can bother people. It's his hobby. That's the problem when you don't have a life - you want others' lives to be as shitty as yours

Gibraltar is British and should stay British for the simple reason that the people want to remain British.

The same goes for the Falklands. It may offend you or be a delicate subject but it's true.

I don't know about the Falklands inhabitants, but the what the people in Gibraltar really want is independence!
