That's my last gig done and dusted and here are a few videos from the show. Personally I hate venues which provide ample seating for people as the atmosphere gets sucked right out of the place but they were certainly loud enough even if they weren't up dancing till the end.

Nice vids Gav. Bet it was an emotional night.

Have they found a replacement?

What's the script with the Maggie's gig? I can't find anything about it online.

Cheers man - it was a good night. They're still looking so if you know any Sambongo fans who can play, please put them in touch.

They've been forced to pull out of the Maggie Mays gig unfortunately. I can't cover for that one so it's difficult goings forwards until they get some luck with the auditionees. Plenty of interest just too many fantasists or guys in it for the cash.

I'll say to Graham, he's quiet just now.

A year ago I'd have been all over it but the DJing (and the dough that comes with it) is taking off in a big way so it looks like I'm done with the band thing until my mid life crisis

Well, there can be a lot of travelling without much money involved so it really is for fans who love playing the stuff mainly. Too many have sounded promising only to start enquiring about getting gigs that pull silly money on the main tribute circuit. It's never really interested us though and we've never gone down that route.

People who play primarily for the enjoyment of playing live. Who'd have thought that we were such a rare breed?

Looked like an awesome gig, shame I missed this one but our other plans were only cancelled right at the last minute.

It was a cracker, Andi. Probably the best Edinburgh crowd we've had the pleasure of playing to. Pretty much a packed house and the place was bouncing from start to finish. Next up, Shock The City Festival at The Garage in Glasgow next weekend.
