Yes, me too. Last one was quite a disappointment.
I quite liked it though I'll be rereading it prior to buying this one
The fourth was really awesome, couldn't put it down for even a sec. So I had really great expectations for Order of the Phoenix. Maybe that was the whole problem: my expectations.

The third and fourth are my favourites but the first time I read the fourth I found the Quidditch worldcup bit too tedious, but then I reread it and realised I must have been action thirsty the first time :P

I did try so hard not to have any expectations for the fifth though. I was all excited and nervous but that was it. Same for this one I guess.

Yeah, I will use that strategy also, I guess.

I'm afraid Lupin will die at the silver hand of Pettigrew.

I've been listening to Goblet of Fire on CD while driving and it reminds me how much I absolutely love that book. I too thought the Quidditch World Cup was tedious the first time I read it. But from the Third Task to Priori Incantatum is just awesome. I hope they don't royally mess it up in the movie. OOTP was very disappointing when I first read it too, but going back I've found it more intesting and valuable. It's somewhat the Harry/Hermione shipper's Bible. I do hope Harry has a different attitude in HBP. I'm sure he will. It will be interesting to see how she writes the affects of a certain death that I won't mention in case someone hasn't read it already, save I ruin the end for someone else. (sorry Colleen! LOL)

From Mugglenet:

Looking for the synopsis on the back side of the HBP jackets?
US and UK publishers Scholastic and Bloomsbury have informed us that this time, they won't be releasing images of the back of the Half-Blood Prince jackets until July 16th because they reveal important plot details. In 2003, pictures of the back jackets were released, so this is a new strategy for them. Usually the summary on the back is printed to encourage people to read the book without giving away the story.

Grrr... why don't they just hit us all with the cruciatus? July 16 is too far away.

Becky you made me laugh...In a way I like this idea. I usually read the back of a book when I don't know anything about the writer/type of book/ and so on. If it is a book I really want to read, I always avoid the back.
