Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince ~~~SPOILERS~~~

Regulus was killed by Death Eaters--supposedly didn't last a week after he tried to get out. Also, when they were cleaning grimmauld Place, they found a heavy locket that no one could open. I'm pretty sure it's among the stolen items that Mundungus sold in HBP.

I don't understand the idea that Harry and Hermione couldn't be together because they're equals. I think partners should be equal.

And I know Ginny had a crush on Harry since the beginning which is why I didn't want them to get together. There's a good message for little girls everywhere. Obsess. You'll get your man. She never stopped liking Harry (so she admitted in HBP).

Oh I don't think she was obsessed at all! In fact she tried to move ona nd didn't harass Harry like the other girls. She liked him right from the beginning so it's not that fame thing that appeals to the others. I think they make a good couple really.

If she has already been "accused" of copying those I really don't want to think what would happen if she did that. Maybe like Sinead said he will be in contact with him through the portrait and Harry visiting Hogwarts from time to time.

But really, it's scary - "the only one Voldemort ever feared" is dead!!

I don't mean that partners can't be equal but Hermione and Harry have crossed the line when you can't fall in love with your best friend without ruining it. Ron and Hermione have always had a banter going on.. they've always liked each other I think, only they were too young to realise.

Huh?? She isn't obsessing!! She likes the guy! Since when is that obsessing, and isn't that the way it usually goes. You like someone and hope they'll eventually like you. Ginny totally backed off and that just showed Harry what she was all about.

I somehow feel that Voldemort kind of fears Harry too... hopefully that will help!

My problem is JKR didn't show US what Ginny is all about. She was barely in OOTP and all of a sudden she's Ms. Perfect in HBP.

I wonder about that portrait in the office. I'm sure McGonagall would give Harry access to it. Also, why aren't there any talking portraits of Lily and James? Sirius's mother has one. The portraits at Hogwarts speak. It can't be that uncommon.

Do you think Fawkes will turn up again? I really missed Neville and Luna in this book too. They weren't around nearly enough.

Do you think Dumbledore was asking Snape to kill him (and therefore keep his cover) or to not kill him? I wonder because Dumbledore kept saying there are things worse than death.

As I said, when I reread OotP I realised how much she featured there and how she got on pretty well with the trio. I think she was getting there really.

I think Fawkes will be around for Harry. Oh, I have missed them too. Luna is so great!!

I don't know. Dumbledore was actually begging and Snape seemed to really mean business. I kept hoping against hope that he would be good but I don't know now. It would be a twist on a twist.
