Default Help!! [@ people who speak German]

Maybe someone here can help me out...

I'm searching for an English word that matches the German "beruhigend" (NOT when a person is upset and needs to calm down again and NOT to describe something like slow music... just when you want to say things like "Was du mir erzählt hast, finde ich sehr beruhigend.")

Is there anybody out there who knows a word for that? I don't find anything...

it's a great relief ?????? it's a comfort ??? depends of the context, do you really want one word ??

Hm... thanks. I'm not sure if that's what I was searching for, but it sounds acceptable... Unfortunately I have no idea how to explain what I mean, but no, of course it doesn't have to be one single word...
