Now call me weird, but I do enjoy going to the dentist

Let me guess... you have perfect teeth and you have never had one cavity so you have no idea what it is like when they drill and hurt you???

I hate dentists too - mine is a very nice person, but it still feels like he likes to hurt me

Had 2 of my wisdom teeth operated out of my jaw and it wasn't pleasant...

Good luck tomorrow Inge

I'm absolutely terriffied of dentists... I absolutely refuse to go!!! All my wisdom teeth are painful, not too much, I can live with it, but they're growing in the jaws and I think I should get them removed but I just don't want to. Also one of my teeth is hollow, there is a huge hole there, I can fit my tongue in it, but I just don't want to go to a dentist! I refuse to!!!

I can totally relate Inge, I wish you the best!!! It'll be over soon, just knock yourself unconscious at the time and you'll be fine!!!

Well, I hate this sort of pain (more than others) but i was really surprised the last time i went to the dentist, it didn't hurt so much
Try to relax a bit Inge or it's going to be worse ! and that's true.

No, no, no... Far from that! I have very delicate teeth that need a lot of looking after! In fact I go to the dentist every six months. I look after my teeth a lot these days, but I had to have a couple of pieces removed and stuff. So that's why I say I'm weird - because I've had "bad" experiences there :P

Going to the dentist is strange. I have had lots of surgery( marijke and fleur can tell you all about the state I have been in) but somehow I can handle that. Bring me to hospital and I won`t complain, but a dentist....?????It seems he/she is some maniac and sadist...I don`t know. Well Iam going to have a few drinks tonight, not that much though and tomorrow I will knock myself down with some valium. My doctor prescribed me these stuff once. I didn`t want to take them that time but tomorrow...I think I have a great reason.....
I am such a coward when it comes to dentists.
Laura..I guess we feel th esame ....

I'm one of those freaks that want to be a dentist! lol

I'm a dental assistant right now though, so I see extractions everyday. In fact, I just had my two upper wisdom teeth surgically removed Monday afternoon. If you don't want to take a narcotic, you can take 800 mg of Tylenol and 400 mg of Ibuprofen together. Works just as good, but doesn't knock you out. I've kept that in me since Monday. Hope it all goes well tomorrow!
