lol I find it all extremely fascinating. I did an internship for a semester in highschool at my dentist's office and thought it was great. The year after highschool (last year), I took dental assisting classes at college and since July, have been working part-time at an office while taking prerequesite classes for the dental hygiene program (the people that clean teeth). After I get my degree for that in a couple of years, I want to go onto dental school. I really don't know why I want to do it. I think it's all very interesting, and obviously the sight of blood and saliva doesn't gross me out (most of the time anyway!) And the money's great, too! Where I live, dentists make an average of $7 PER MINUTE! I don't know...I really can't explain why, I just like it! lol

Yeah, it is, but after a while, you get used to it. We wear gloves and masks, so it's not like we actually touch the crap on their teeth anyway. lol My first clinical rotation site was at an oral surgeon's office. I nearly passed out. I ran to the bathroom until I felt fine again. But now, I don't think anything about it. And as far as rotton teeth go, it's kinda cool to look at what they were before you got in there, and then to see them once they're fixed. I don't know. I'm just weird, alright?
