Herminator is back!

Former World Cup champ Hermann Maier wins Super G  "LAKE LOUISE, Alberta (AP) _ Hermann Maier lead an Austrian sweep at a World Cup super giant slalom race Sunday, beating Michael Walchhofer and defending overall champion Stephan Eberharter. maier finished in 1 minute, 36.69 seconds, 0.26 seconds ahead of Walchhofer, who won Saturday's downhill race. Eberharter was third in 1:37.24. Maier, a two-time Olympic gold medalist who placed 10th in the downhill, was in top form from the moment he came out of the starting gates, getting faster as he flew down the course. "I'm very, very happy with a great performance," Maier said. The three-time overall World Cup champion has been recovering from a devastating motorcycle accident that almost cost him a leg in 2001. yeah it's impressive he won one day before his birthday. Our media is quite thrilled *g* reporting about it again and again. I`m not into skiing at all but he`s cool
(  wonder when it starts snowing again here much too warm)

I think he's made a great recovery, that was a bad accident he had!
