Default Hi, can someone help me find a song about Pat Garrett?!!

Hello, my boyfriend has asked me to try and find him a song to do with/or called Pat Garrett that he loves and has not heard for years. We are both Bon Jovi fans but he has been for longer than me, so I have never heard of it. I looked in All Bon Jovi Songs but I guess its not called that - Iam so clueless.

Maybe someone can tell me where I can find it? Does it exist? So I can surprise him.

Thank you

Sam

P.S. love the site.

hey patty garrett thats what i used to call you
they tell me they want me but i hear they got you
they made you a law man with a badge made of silver
and paid you some money to sell them my blood

but you say..
this aint about me
and this aint about you
all the good and the bad times
that we've both been through
when the lines between brothers and justice have changed
you do what you gotta, but you cant walk away

i wonder what would have happened
if you were the killer
and i was the hero
would i have paid, your debts in your place

but this aint about me, and this aint about you
or the good and the bad time
weve both been through
when the lives between brothers, and justice have changed
you do what you gotta, cos you cant walk away

blood money thats what i call it
cause money for blood, aint no fair exchange..
blood money, bought and then sold you
but your conscience is all you can take to your grave

hey hey folks, not bad for 12.45 and shooting pains in your head ay?

geez i proud...

There's a song by an old Country and Western singer, his name is Marty Robbins, see if you can find anything about him, although that song is mainly about Billy the Kid and how a young sheriff called Pat Garrett shots him, great song.
Also check singers like Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. Pat Boone might help, but I somehow think your best bet would be Marty Robbins.
