Unbelievable that you can take a tragedy like this and still use it to point out your perception of American arrogance and go completely off topic. Why don't you just stop and think about all those people that were killed without sounding like a jackass.
and i think that some americans are way too irritable when it comes down to their country. she didn't say anything bad or offensive about US so you don't have to insult her like that moron.
human life is of equal importance no matter the country and she didn't go off topic like you said.

You don't think that's insulting?

People seem to forget the earthquake in Istanbul a few years back. I even think that more people died in that one.

A lot of earthquake activity is likely in the next decade. Most countries test their nuclear weapons underground. That cant be helping fault lines in the area

As I thought people would get me wrong ... Ill explain one more time and if you still misunderstands sorry then ... I think I said I also feel bad about what happened on sept, 11th !!!! I never said I wasnt ... it shouldnt have happened, it was a disaster and terrible day, weeks, months, ...... I just say I feel bad for all the victims that died in Iran cause we know within a few months no one will talk about them anymore and that is sad ... I just compaired the two things cause of the people who died ... 3000 in USA, more then 30.000 in iran ... THAT was my point !!! Many people died, it's a tragedy and people will forget ... that was all I was trying to say
.... and what I said about the location of things to happen ... i still agree with my point that if something happens in the USA the news will pay more attention then when it happens somewhere else ... If you don't agree, don't ... I don't ask that ... But I can have my opinion !!! I would love to visit the USA, the country has many good things to see and do and does good stuff ... but you can't really deny that in media USA doesnt show itself more important in certain situations ...
Mostly to do with that stupid president of yours ...

Once again, I don't want to hurt anyone, I didnt assult anyone personally ... I just felt bad about all these things and Im free to share it here ...
Hope everyone understands now.

PS: Ugly queen from mars ... thanx girl

Vallie, I understand what you are trying to say, but I think you are comparing apples with pears. I'm not going to rehash what I already said, but I stand by my point that the fact that it happened in the US has nothing to do with the fact that September 11th is remembered, if you think it is, then that is your opinion. Worldwide we remember dates and have memorials, maybe September 11th in the scale of things wasn't just an attack on America but on our Western Civilisation in general. However you wish to interpret it is up to you, but I don't think you can blatantly say because it was in America it will be remembered. If that was the case then I want Thanksgiving and the 4th July as well, in addition to Martin Luther King's birthday and Memorial day.

I actually agree with Vallie to some extent. Im not comparing 9/11 to the eathquake in Iraq but but I do think America as a whole doesnt see past its own nose sometimes. I remember when the Bali attack happened, I put CNN on and there was hardly any coverage of it. When the IRA terroist attacks too place in Britain, America never took any notice, if they had taken place in America the world would have never heard the end of it.

But it's an American network!! Just watch BBC news and it's mostly news that concerns Britain, not only the rest of the world. Every country's media does this.

The BBC covers worldwide stories too though. Im not Anti-American, the main reason that 9/11 happened in America is because they knew the whole world would take notice.
