I've never been able to take short naps like that. If I'm going to bed, I'm down for the count lol I bet you're not finding work stressful or unbearable because you know it's short term.

morning folks

That's me been up over and hour and now in work.

Still feel ok though I can kind of feel bags coming in under my eyes.

I read a while ago that appaerently you can train yourself to be able to go with very little sleep.

You set your alarm 5 minutes earlier everymorning so every 20 days you're knocking an hour off of what you spend asleep and since you do it in small increments it's not as much a shock to the system as just trying to get up an hour earlier one morning.

Apparently it really boost your metabolism too which is interesting.

I don't get nearly enough sleep. Sometimes it's my fault for not going to bed but often I'm just kind of laying there sleeplessly.

Apparently you can also get by on only 3 hours sleep a day, by splitting your sleep up into half an hour naps every four hours. Although of course, thats massively impractical if you're working a steady job. Also, if you miss just one of the naps, you apparently crash really hard. Needless to say, I probably won't be trying that!

How exactly does going with less sleep boost your metabolism?

It's all these art classes I've been taking I tell you. I can feel the IQ points dropping by the hour.

I dunno how the metabolism thing works but I'd assume it would be linked to the fact that if you're up for 20-21 hours a day instead of 15-18 you've got another couple of hours to burn up calories.

It's 4:30am and I haven't gone to bed yet, I think I really stuffed up my sleep pattern by watching Tin Man until 5am yesterday...
