I agree in general, but the examples aren't all that good. I drive my son to school, though walking would take him some 7 minutes max. I am just paranoid something might happen to him. He is only 8. My neighbor drives her 15 year old the same distance, cause she just doesn't want to walk. I don't think with her it's a safety issue, cause she is allowed out at nights with the boys.... I do a lot of online shopping, not because I am lazy, but because it is much faster than driving there, finding parking, etc.
What annoys the heck out of me are people that can't be bothered with parking in a parking spot, but park right in the drivers lane to pick up their kids from school or to run into the store. The parking spots are 10 feet further. Talking about lazy shits!
