I used to be really dependent on my mobile... Nowadays, especially when I'm in England, I might go for days without checking it, mainly because it's so expensive to call and receive calls. I could live without my mobile, but it makes life so much more easier. I have lived without a landline for six years, and if I didn't have a mobile people couldn't reach me. I have about 300 names in my phone book, I can basically contact any one of my old friends at any time if I want (not that I ever do ).

I think it's good to have a mobile on you at all times also because if there's an emergency, you can phone for help easily. Also, for example my 7-year-old god son and his 10-year-old big sister both have their own mobile phones, they don't call people, but their parents can always reach them, to see where they are and what they are doing. Also they love the games

Is it just me though, or did everyone else kind of grow-out of the games on mobiles? I Just never play them anymore.

Totally agree with Laura though, you definately need them for emergencies and such. Where would we be without a mobile phone to call for help, if needed? How did we ever used to met people without mobile phones?

It´s quite funny, I don´t know anyone who doesn´t have a mobile phone except for my grandmom. I could live without it but I rather have it.

I for sure have. I think it's natural.

I don't think we need mobiles to meet people, I prefer meeting them in person (on online :P). You can easily arrange a meeting without a mobile. Mobile is good if you can't make it, or if you're gonna be late, but what annoys me if I've got a meeting and somebody phones (or worse, texts)me and says they're gonna be 5 minutes late. I mean, I can wait for five minutes without going crazy even if they don't let me know. I think 15 minutes or more, and it's handy to let people know.

i'm everything but addicted to my mobile- last month i nearly started crying for having a 27€ bill (15€ of these 27€ are basic charge... meaning i had 12 € actual connection charge) this month i made it with my 60-free minutes- meaning there's only the basic charge to pay...
