my achievement i'd rather be to just be doing what i love and get paid for it

don't care how many people listen to me - i'd rather just the people i know would like my music listened to it than 100 million, most of whom wouldn't care too much

Dire Straits, they have sold over 100 million records, but not albums

they didnt rely on fancy advertising or anything like that, they never were a singles band, and singles help to boost album sales
