Well according to the link there are 3 people in the UK with same name as me and I can guarantee that they are related to me in some way.

I don't think it is a very authentic looking website. It looks more like the numbers have been made up of people with email addresses, or something Internet related.

Otherwise, how could the person who runs the site have got access to a database of the whole population of the UK? That's roughly 60-65 million people, and there are only about 20,000 John Smiths, which I find hard to believe. I would have expected many many more.

I too don't believe it is official or accurate. The spelling of 'your' gives it away in www.yournotme.com.

It doesn't look official at all.

Also, only a full census could reveal such information, and they can't be disclosed to the public until 100 years after (I think). That means that only the census from over a hundred years ago, which can be accessed on a real government website, is accurate.
