I've never tried to lose my accent. Never bothered me! When I get mad it really lets loose! REALLY!!!! And when I've been drinking...Great I'm doomed. Noone will know where I'm from! LOL!

And Kev - your accent will NOT be a problem at all - we live close to New York - EVERYBODY has an accent of some sort or other. My ear is well tuned to listening through accents LOL.
