Go to a sauna. I had a cold and thats what I did as we have one at work. It went virtually straight away. I found it the quickest and easiest way

Orange juice and caffinated ice tea. My brother will get a sore throat and drink a whole pitcher of ice tea, and the next day it will either be gone or hardly noticeable. I stick with orange juice, doesn't work quite as well, but I really don't like ice tea so its the 2nd best. Contains lots of vitamin C too.
