How to make a music-mix??

Hello all,

I've got question ... Im teaching the 4th year of primary school (9-10yrs old) and in one month we have a schoolperformance.
My class has to do a dance but I want to mix songs cause we (me and the kids) have problems choosing one.
Need some help!!!!!!!!!
I downloaded the AVS Music Mix program but so far it doesnt work how I want it too.
