It makes University a hell of a lot easier, great source of info, but I could live without it and in all seriousness I would probably be doing something a bit more usefull with my free time.

In the 90's I was still living in Buenos Aires, so imagine being a BJ fan at that time with no internet and in the wrong continent, lol! I remember I used to listen to different radio stations or the most popular ones, watch all music channels, read music magazines and so on.

I don't think I'd be able to live without internet. I use it a lot at work, either to look up the silliest things (ie: the directions or location of a certain restaurant for my boss) or quite important stuff like getting all visa requirements for such country, client details, etc.

However, I'd say I use it mainly for leisure, in old times I used to go or telephone travel agencies to book a holiday but now I do everything via internet. Our lives are a bit easier now: I can check my bank account or pay bills online, I can order groceries shopping, I even buy flowers or presents for my family/friends abroad, and I could go on forever.

Strange, I was thinking about it a few days ago. I really think I wouldn't be such a BJ fan without the Internet
I spend a lot of time on it, I just think nowadays you can't live without it- but still I won't say I'm addicted

and same here; I wouldn't have a job... Also the course at uni I'm currently taking wouldn't exist.

I can't remember a life without internet. My dad used to have a connection for his work practically before everyone else had. The place he's working was the first institute outside the US that got connected to NSFnet, later known as the Internet. We used to be 'online' ever since I can remember, although obviously it was a hell of a lot different than it is now.

I could live without internet at home for a while, but I have to have a connection nearby for work and studies .
