Default Howz ur childhood........?

Mine is not bad, i had lot of fun in my childhood days. My parents and sister pampered me lot, i wish they shouldn't pamperd me that much. My father never let me do any real work(chors), i think that is bad thing. Parents should let their children be indipendent, i was always a protected child.

So howz ur childhood.?

We never had a big family at all... but I wasn't spoiled. I used to think my sister always got more than me, but that's possible because she was older. My childhood was good I suppose. Everyone gets picked on at school but fortunately I've always been big enough to deter most people from doing it to my face: doesn't mean they didn't do it behind my back though in groups, but I never let that get to me because that happens to everyone.

I used to do all sorts of sports and was generally good at all that i did do. I was about to play football and cricket for the regional team when my knees packed in on me: but when i played i got about 15 trophies in 3 years.

Not abused lol, or beaten - this could be a trap for some parents and Social Services! I liked my childhood and in some ways I wish I could have stayed that innocent.

Depends Allwyn, for me it was the opposite and maybe a bit too much, i was 6 when my sister's born and i had to take care of her when she was a baby, change, bottles, take her to the nurse before i was going at school and same thing in the evening, believe i was only six, i was so scared alone in this cold and dark house, it was too much, i know my mother didn't have the choice, but moreless this is my chilhood, when i was 25 and bought my house, i realised i changed of house 20 times !!!! this is another part of my childhood. Grew up also in Gypsy's camps, which was not really easy too and violence, violence, violence. Not terrible ..... that's why for my kids i try to do my best, i want they'll have good memories later.

I grew up here in New Jersey and I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. When I was very young, in the fifties, parents did not cater to their children as much and they also left them alone alot more than they do now. I have described it to my own kids as benign neglect. As long as we weren't in trouble they didn't want to hear from us. Our lives were not scheduled as so many kids lives are now. In the summer we would leave in the morning and come home when it was dark. No cell phones - just out all day hanging around playing baseball with no adults around to settle the fights, or swimming or walking in the woods. There are lots of woods in New Jersey contrary to popular opinion I had a great childhood.

i loved mine.

i can't pick out one bad memory from it at all seriously. was always more into my music than sport but we used to play football every single night in the park outside our flats. i'm a twin so i always had someone to talk to or do somethign with.

school was great too. i've been lucky enough to be smart without really tryign so i was always good in school and never had any probems. suppose i was pretty popular too cos i should have been head boy with the pupil and teachers votes until the headmaster decided i wouldn't take the role seriously and gave it to a much more sensible mate.

Mine was good. Quite protected but I'm the baby of the family and completely spoiled by my dad, I could get away with murder!! I always used to get my sister into trouble and she had to be nice to me. My childhood was good!

My childhood was pretty mixed, my parents split when i was 13/14, I had 2 holidays a year, my dad went and lived in another country. My older sisters said me and my brother were spoilt when my mum and dad spilt up. Not much to say really about my childhood except i wouldnt go back.
