even springsteen - i went to see him live in 1999 without even knowing his music that well just because i wanted to see a concert... but i got hooked after that...

it's the same for me... the moment i find a song i like i look up the whole back catalogue of the band, and try to see them live...

wel i am not that crazy, but crazy enough. 4 years ago i went to the concert of a german singer, even though i only knew 2 songs. at the concert i was in front row right in the middle and he was really close, i could almost touch him and he even handed me a cd all the girls around me were so jealous, they tried to nick that cd from me but little choc managed to keep it

that was a great experience and i've liked him ever since...nowadays i dont like his music so much anymore but it always brings back some good memories

that's a good story...

i've been front row centre in shows in the past (literally at venues where you are stood 2 foot from the singer) - Manfredd Mann was one of them - and the vocalist was trying to get the audience to sing and he virtually had the microphone in my mouth and i didn't have a clue what the lyrics were because i didn't know the song...

the same happened at Southside Johnny during one of his songs...

that must be really embarressing for the band, though

well the rest of the audience seemed to know the words so it was more embarassing for me really!
