i got in UNI!!

its in the top 10 maybe 5, there always banging on abut it at carmel which is a very good college where i went

i hated college thou lol

have you started yet?

i started my pgde on monday and i need to get up at half 6 tomorrow morning :'-(

well from what ive heard its second to few in the teaching department, may of the teachers who ive been taught by (many in college) have studied there. theres shitloads of demand to get in and study there and the area im studying in is in high demand at the mment.

ive not started yet, im going on i think its the 28th aug i think its a wed, they have a freshers week but im not going because i dont fancy blowing £300+ getting pissed with strangers.

should be good though, what uni are you at?

I'd urge you to go to Fresher's Week - you don't have to get trashed every night, that's your choice, but it's a great time to meet people. Some people I met in Fresher's Week were friends through my whole Uni stay and still are - it's also great fun.

i'd go to freshers week btw. it's a good laugh. i'm a bit too old for it now and i'll be on placement when it's on but it's always a blast.

As everyone says, get ur ass to freshers week, im in my 3rd year and id never miss freshers week, just that good!

and believe the saying, uni is the best years of ur life!

this'll be my 6th freshers week.

i just don't have the passion for it anymore i'm like.... i could go out but then i'll be hungover in class the next day and the place will be full of freshers etc... :'-(

i might try and get out one night just for the sake of it but i'm even looking for new pubs and clubs to go into when i'm up town because in a month or so's time i'll be bumping into half the class i'm teaching when i'm out and about and i can't imagine anything more soul destroying.
