I got into University!!!

well done it's always a great achievement to get in somewhere with limited places and lots of applicants.

me n my bro got into music industry business and that has about 100 people applying a year with only 10-15 places available.

my girlfriends been accepted to do primary teaching at the best uni in scotland for it and she got picked over like 5 or 600 other applicants. she's been accepted even before she gets the results of some subjects that r usually required to get in so they must have really been impressed

russian wud be cool but the only russian i need to know is smirnoff please


oh yeah and welcome to the student life, get prepared for lots of cheap clubs and drinks. do u get unions at ur universities? (as in places for the students to go and buy dirt cheap drink and get wasted)

i dont have a clue what its like in austria, whether or not they have unions i'll find out soon enough

i take it that it's got a good reputation if ur moving to austria to study their?

true story:

when i was in school looking at universities to goto int he school library the school librarian came over and started talking to me. she said y r u only looking for uni's in glasgow and i said i don't want to move away from here and she said y not i went to university in newcastle when i was ur age.

i dunno about u but id be really pissed if i went to uni and ended up workin as a school librarian.

don't be scared to chage courses or come home if u don't like it or u think it's not really what u want, i know a few people who have swapped or are swapping courses (me included, accountancy here i come) and are alot happier now and then i know people who r doing courses they hate but have to stick it out either because they don't want people to think they're failures or because they can't do anything else.

this is the only university in austria i applied to. and i only did because the study programme is perfect for me!! if i really dont like it i can always change unis, i dont think that will be the case though.
