i got a phillips jukebox job there lately, but the software was total pants and woodnt copy files half the time so i just sold it on ebay, and now im sticking to my wee 256MB baby - far simpler! no software, no nothing! just plug in, and drag and drop straight from ur Windows media player.. no itunes or other progrmas, just the way it should be! just have to change my playlist over every few days, but this is a small pirce to pay instead of paying another £150+ for a proper ipod.

question - do all ipods etc these days comes with their own software that you have to install and use to put ur music on? why cant ujust use them as removeable discs and just copy and paste files onto them like i can with my little 256MB? meh

well you can actually use your iPod as a removable hd... I do it all the time. You just have to enable 'disk use' in iTunes when your iPod is plugged in. Now you can drag any file you'd like onto your iPod in Windows. To add music to your iPod you'd need iTunes, but iTunes is the better mp3 player anyway so you might as well use it .

I'm looking into buying a black Nano, they're so cool. My old iPod is... well... old... and I really only use it hooked up to my car radio. I want a new one .

They look awesome Sara, but do you not think that their capacities are a little too small? I wouldnt mind a ipod that size too, but I like a large selection of tracks...

ah I don't mind... I've got a 40 gig iPod for whenever I want to have many songs with me . And I usually end up listening to a selected couple of playlists anyway! In this case it's the size that matters ! I don't mind the small capacity, 4 gig is fine with me.

I only have a 20gb ipod, but the capacity still drives me nuts. I kinda wish I had waited to save up a little more n got the 40gb (or now 60gb). I find myself constantly changing a few albums on mine, coz 20gb is too small. As far as 'size' goes, I wish my ipod was a little smaller...i think thinner would be better to be honest.

Apple are already talking about designs for a smaller ipod shuffle, which is already tiny!

I just bought a black Nano the other day and felt like sharing the news! I'm already in love with it . I use my Nano for whenever I travel short distances or go working out, stuff like that. For that it's perfect! My 'big' iPod is still very useful for long distances . But then, the Nano has a much longer battery life, where I need an external battery pack for my big iPod. So yeah - I'm very happy with my Nano, it's a cool little gadget .
