Default I have to go back to work.....
Well, my vacation is over and now I have to go back to work today. I'm not looking forward to it at all.

is it true the average yank only gets 10 days off a year?

That probably is a good average. Some businesses only get the 5 basic holidays: New Years, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Some will add in Martin Luther King, Good Friday.

Then the post office takes off everything from Christmas to Columbus Day. LOL So, yeah, it probably does average to about 10.

I work for a school system, so I have no complaints about days off. My contract is for 200 days a year.

That's pretty cool. We only get Thanksgiving Monday off up here.
