I think your right actually Jenn. Thinking about it more, I think we 'used' to have some presents underneath the tree, but there was always many many more come Christmas Morning. I guess it is the same in the majority of households around the world, but I would like to be told otherwise!

That is VERY interesting to know. I was not aware of this at all. Its great that other countries have different traditions. It was only a few days ago that I found out that Germans open their presents on Christmas Eve

We open presents on Christmas Eve too. Well, not everyone....for example, I open the ones from my parents and my sisters on Christmas day. But the real day is usually the Eve here

Not by that title no. If you said "Guy Fauks Night" then more people would understand what you meant. You can have a bombfire any night of he week, if you really want.

Over here, Santa only brings one or two toys for each child. The rest is from other family members.

I don't put the presents under the tree until the night before. My son's Dad puts them down long before and only Santas present appears overnight.

Of course one has to keep it straight that the wrapping Santa uses cannot be found on another present (not even the bow as I found out this year)

Honestly, I have a feeling that I've never been successful to instill 'THE LIE' in my son and he only 'pretends' to believe to humor me....
