You know, last year i was driving at 129km/h instead of 90, but this road is really made like you can do it.
We have a website in France to tell the minister that maybe some limits can change at some places.
This road i was on is a really good example.

But anyway i had to pay 90 euros i think it is and 3 points less on my license
Now they have changed the thing, if you drive like you did just 7 km/h too fast they consideer it's not so bad that if you drive 20 km/h too fast and you have to pay much less in this condition, can't remember how much .
But i think it's a good thing because if you have the same punishment if you drive at 97 km/h or 129 km/h instead of 90, it's just ridiculous.

lol only 90 Euro? My bf got a ticket a month ago, he drove 86 where 50 was allowed... 240 Euro speeding ticket... lost one point on his license. We only have three in total I think, it kinda depends on when you got your license. We only have the pointssystem for a few years I think and just for people with less than 5 years (I think?) driving experience.

I had to pay 30 Euro for driving 124 where 120 is allowed last month... And I consider myself lucky for that as I usually drive 20km/h too fast. It's my only ticket so far... *knock on wood*.

Thankfully they don't have the point system here. Not that I get done for speeding that often. I just never knew that they could photograph you from the front...

yes and even at nights - the pics will still identify you.

But they can't do stuff like that in the US

Since when?? The last I heard they were still debating the point system in parliament! What did you get your points for?

I have three points and get negative points for speeding over 30km/h, driving with alcohol, (don't know the english word, help! ) bumperkleven and accidents with death as result...

I still have my three points . I've got a points licence for 5 years after that it'll become a normal licence (if I still have it that is :P). So I have to wait another 3 years....

I am waiting for Adrian to tell us that it actually is illegal for the police to give out tickets
Its definitely legal for states to issue speeding tickets, though I and many others think day time limits should be set at "reasonable and prudent" like on a couple midwestern states' highways. The feds can only legally give tickets to people using interstate highways to transport cargo.
