there's no doubt at all that she wasnt involved 1st hand with the murders but the fact she knew he had a bad past says quite alot and im sure many people in her situation would have told the police if they trully believed there was nothign to worry about and that huntly was innocent.
Yes but If I was with someone who I really loved, and they told me about this past and that none of it was true, Id prob believe him. Also Huntley was such a convincing Liar, Carr only gave him an alibi cos she didnt want Huntley to be in the frame. I think if shed have known he was responsible shed have gone to the police straight away.

there's a difference between bullshitting the police and bullshitting them. fair enough if someones done something stupid or something ive got nothing against people backing them up with an alibi but when 2 girls r missing and end up murdered its a completely different story.

ive got no doubt in my mind she knew something was wrong and even if she didnt she should still have sed she wasnt there instead of lying.

and i still remember seeing her on telly saying "they were nice girls" then realising she was talkig past tense she laughed and started again. thats ****ign disturbing if u ask me

Sorry to barge in, but I haven't heard about this... Who's Huntley, what'd he do, and what's Carr to do with it?

I gathered he murdered someone, who? What's the whole story then?

cliched as it might sound but the very 1st interview i seen him give i thought he did it. i dunno why but i have a good knack of pegging people like that. i saw right threough tracy andrews or something that sed her boyfriend got lkiled by some guy with road rage and theres no doubt at all in my mind that jody jones' boyfriend is the one that killed her.

long story

Found guilty of abducting and murdering two young girls in the summer of 2002... what my friend described as the biggest media frenzy since Diana died in this country... and even that's got a new twist to it in the news at the moment!!!

Turns out he had a history of this sort of thing now, and the police are looking very bad about it all. Girl telling her story today on ITV about how he robbed her of a childhood in an abandoned orchard 6 years ago etc

And his girlfriend lied to the police at time the girls were missing, giving Huntley an alibi for the weekend they went missing.

Yeah I heard about the two girls last year, I remember that.

Didn't know anyone was convicted tho.

Thanks for clearing it up.
