one debate we had in class about this...

where was the man when eve ate the fruit? (oh and if you could say why that would help)

the conclusion was that there was nothing in any transdlation looked at (all the english language ones, plus the hebrew bible (in hebrew cause you can get hebrew bible in english) and greek scripts to suggest that adam was not with eve when the serpent tempted her to eat the fruit, which by implication meant that adam was with her......

makes the whole thing of who to blame a lot more complicated.....
(and just in case anyone states that this is feminist bullshit- that suggestion was actually pu forwards by the guys group.... the women had generally assumed he was asleep or not there)
