the rap isn't even half bad.

dizzee's OK in small doses but the cockney gets really grating after a while but a coupla bars is alright by me.

I've decided if the band start doing cover stuff on the side and we're playign round christmas new year we'll be doing band aid but ill siong the rap bit

No you have to cover the original!!! Just heard the new version again, I still hate it. It doesnt have any of the passion and sentiment as the first one and that killer intro is also missing. But I suppose the main thing is that it raises money, but the original will always go on my xmas compilation CDs...
