Have you read a book called The Memory Box by Margaret Forster? It's about a mother who's dying and makes a memory box for her newborn baby to remember her by and to be opened on her 18th birthday. I loved that book.
No, I have not. But I have seen on Operah or something equivalent of a mother that was dying from cancer how she recorded hours and hours of video tapes of herself reading and talking to her kids. So, so sad.

I think I need to look out for that book!!

Oh, I also would not travel -- locally, yes, spend some time on the beach or the islands, but not out of the country. It's a waste of time imo.

And there is a movie with a very similar story, I saw it a couple of weeks ago, it was really sad.

I am not sure what I'd do. But Maria made a good point, I don't know if I would tell everyone, perhaps my husband, my two/three best friends, and that's it I guess. I'm not sure if I'd like to see my parents suffering so much. It's hard to say, I'd probably do something totally different at the end.

Ah yes, I'd definitely stop working so that I can enjoy every day as much as possible.

I don't really know man, The sheer shock of it would probably last at least a week. But I definetly would want to spend as much time with my niece and little brother as possible, I would tell all the girlfriends I have had over the years that even if the relationship ended that they each hold a special piece of my heart with and they may take it wherever they want to go. I'll probably write a couple of songs for my loved ones and record them. realistically I would have all the sex I could. God I don't know, I just wouldn't want to go and leave someone I care about without saying at least a goodbye. And also I'd talk my family into not buriyng me but burning me and to scatter my ashes to the wind, so that Whenever they feel a calming breeze protecting them, they would know it's me.

God that was corny.

first, i would call my ex-girlfreind (actually, the only one i ever had), and i would tell her everything that i ever wanted to tell her from the start.
Then, i would record my songs, even as a rough demo. also write and record a new song, specially for this occasion.
The whole doesnt matter, listening to the music that i love all the time, watching the movies i always wanted to watch and watching my favorites again, spend times with family and just some of very very close friends...
also, maybe i finish this book im working on called "The joys of life - A collection of the most amazing things about life" that im writing to give to my close friends about what ive learnt and what ive enjoyed about life.

Why do you need to die to do that?

lol not really. One of my Dads friends died who was a big Leeds United Fan. He requested that everyone came to his funeral in the teams football shirts, so that was the topic of conversation which made someone ask that

because there's lots of things that i should tell her AFTER that i'm sure i wont see her again, and because she and i have a far family relationship, we may see eachother again sometimes even if we dont want to. so u see, i can only tell her those thngs when im going to die.
