If you could change your first name

Stephanie is such a common name. In my grade, there was 7 Stephanies If I could change my name, I'd go with Alexandra. That's what my parents were planning on naming me.

I don't hate my name, but it's very Scandinavian and hard to pronounce in the English speaking world, so maybe I would change it to something more international... It's Mette BTW, pronounced something like the first part of "medicine" ~ Medde

I like Mette! I really do! It sounds so elegant! Maybe it does because its foreign - I love foreign names.

I don't like my name. Mary. Bah. It's so plain - I don't think it's very feminine either . I use to want to change my whole name to Melissa Baker (because that ended up being my alter ego growing up) but then I met an ACTUAL Melissa Baker - and I can no longer have that name.

I've currently seem to have misplaced my pink notebook and my book of baby names - so I'll have to get back to you about a name I would rather prefer - I have so many, that I can't list them without an aide. I'll edit when I make a whole new list.

For me the same, my name is Malaika and I know only one Malaika (she was a friend of mine...)

Jessica sounds horrible in french, but as Brooke said, there was not so many when i was young. Jess i ok, but again in france .... I don't like when people call me Jesse because it was my brother's name and he's no longer with us. But it happen constantly.
I like Tanya or Tina or Laurence, my second name in Natacha like my older sister and i also have Dany like my father.

But its my name for so long now and with icons like Nicole Kidman i kinda like it now

there is so much history to it. and the person i was named after was probably the most pious woman of her time. a scholar. woo hoo! both my first name and surname was after her!

Panama - I've been wondering for a long time... is Panama your real name? Sometimes I think it is, sometimes I think it isn't - I'm confused!!! :P

As for my name, Cristina... Well, I don't especially like it, but it could be worse. Somehow I can't see myself with any other name It's a very popular name here among people my age. In my class at school there used to be three of us! I hated that!!!
