Will you apologise for the below?? How does that make America look civilised & acting in a civilised manner??

You know what Mike, that is just a tip of ice burge.
There are many more photos on that site if you followed the link. I personally couldn't bring myself to look at any more, the one I posted made me feel ill.

Good point. Just take ur nose out of others business.
Do you think that one thing alone will stop terrorism? If not, what are your thoughts on other things the US can do to fight terrorism?
Put quite simply - stop encouraging it.
That is quite right. Most of the these so called terrorist are started or encouraged by america at some point of time.

Saying that. the very 1st thing I would do is have nothign to do with Israel, let it fend for itself. I'm pretty sure it's tactics would change rapidly when it doesn't have the US standing behind it and apologise to the Arab world.

I wouldn't withdraw troops from anywhere. I genuinely believe that there are troops where they are needed.

As for terrorism... how exactly do you deal with an invisible enemy? That's somethign alot of critics of Bush and Blair seem to forget. This isn't a tiny geographical area like Ulster or the south of Spain, This is the whole world we're talkign about and these people have no solid aims and objectives other than causing as much ahrm and destruction as possible and ultimately, the destruction of the west and our way of life.

I would be alot more ruthless with my treatment of people who are caught and we know they had **** going on. i'm, not talking about folk hitting keywords in text messagesor emails. im talkign people we know are implicated in action or helping them and THEY WOULD be made an example of.

Nothing will stop a man doing something more effectively than putting the fear of God in him.
Jim , money is money , I would pay millions and trillions to prevent terrorism + death.

Examples? If you wouldn't mind, you could give me others besides the war in Iraq and our support of Israel, as I already know how you feel about that encouraging terrorism.

Well one example - and only one - would be the war in Iraq. The United States has managed to do something in the past 18 months that centuries have not not done - and that is to unite warring Arab tribes that have hated each other for a thousand years. Now they have something in common - they hate us even more. They will now co-operate with each other in order to fight a common enemy. We have created thousands more terrorists by our recent actions. History shows that if they managed to get rid of us - they will go back to fighting among themselves - but right now the climate of hatred that we have created gives me the chills.

If we as a country were concerned with eliminating "monsters" or dictators, Saddam Hussein was just the tip of the iceburg. What about what the Arabs are doing in the Sudan? What about China? Are we the cops of the world?

And to make one point clear - I don't blame the United States entirely for all the ills in the middle east. The Arab governments themselves treat their own people horribly. Very little of the vast oil money that is paid to them by my country and others is seen by the average person. The royal family in Saudi Arabia is doing quite nicely however and is personal freiends with our President.

No mike I will NOT apologize for that. I didn't have anything to do with it.
Should I try and dig up pics from 9/11 to try and shock people too??
Oh wait, there aren't any pictures because those people were blown into bits!
Oh, but there are pictures of Nick Berg and Paul Johnsons beheading. Should we post that here too??? Gimme a break Mike huh.

Unfortunately - you are right Jana. That is a tactic that history has shown to be futile. Too bad few people study and read history anymore
