I don't see what's so wrong with what Jon said. He's a HUGE fan of Bruce and the E Street Band and he was a little disappointed with their latest album. Big deal.

As much as people on this site complain about Bon Jovi's latest album, you'd think fans around here could understand being disappointed with an album you looked forward to. Or is Jon not allowed to express views as a fan?

How many times have you heard that Bounce sucks, that Bounce isn't Bon Jovi's style, Bounce just doesn't deserve to be heard, Bounce should be destroyed, etc, etc? What difference does it make if it comes out of our mouths or Jon's? The opinions about Bounce are from fans of Bon Jovi, they still love bj (hopefully). That opinion about The Rising was from a Bruce fan, Jon, and i'm pretty sure Jon still loves Bruce. What does it matter? It's an opinion. If you get angry at opinions - what do you do at the truth?

I am not the biggest fan of Bruce, but I am a fan of Born in the USA. But I wouldn't go on a hunger strike just because one person says something another person might not like. People have taken a lot more than a kick in the pants.

I am not even a big Bruce fan. The only album I ownwed befor THE RISING was his BEST OF. But he is a great musicina and THE RISING is a brilliant album...as good as his older stuff. He didn't change his style trying to be modern. He did the same what he always did. It's the same formula as on Born in the USA for example.
If Jon says nowdays he listens the whole day to bands like CREED or LIVE or TRAIN or even THE CALLING and than he says their albums are great how can I expect him to do good music. I mean,he said THE RISING didn't find it's way in his CD player but the guys i mentioned up there find their way. I tought before JON listens to crap but he does stil listen to his roots,to bands like AERO,ALICE COOPER,THIN LIZZY or BRUCE .
It seems he doesnt and until he stops listening to modern rock shit we won't get a reasonable Jovi album!He should do it like SLASH. He says he does almost never listen to Mainstream. He always listens to his roots ZEPPELIN,AERO,HENDRIX ,etc....Jon needs to do that to.

I realise i overreacted a bit...but I'll hold on with my 'hungerstrike'.Let's see how long!
