Default I'm getting my teeth pulled

I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled in a week or so. I've consulted a couple of dentists and one said that I should have the bottom ones pulled first and come back a couple of years later for the top ones. The other said that I should have all four pulled at once. Has anyone here had there wisdom teeth pulled? How many did they pull at a time? Any advice for my case?

I thought mine where coming through a few years ago, but my dentists said you don't even get them until you're in your early 20's.

I had all four done at once. I figured I was there, so just get it over with. It really wasn't so bad for me, but it depends on how far down the root is.

i have mine and i don't have any problems ....
my husband got one done the day before our son was born it wasn't too painful, i know some persons who went to the hospital for a real surgery and they did the four, it was a bit more difficult to live, but now the teeth are gone !

I have all of mine left, and I'm not letting a dentist pull them... I think the roots have grown into the bone, that could be a major operation... So what I do is hope they won't become too painful, but for sure I'm not letting anyone touch them... I've heard lots of stories about how bad it is (in fairness, heard good stories too), and I'm so scared of the thing... If they ever have to be removed, they're gonna have to anestise (sp?) me...

Sorry, this isn't too encouraging... Hope it will be ok for you, good luck!!!
