They still have that stupid Wild 98.7 plus another one and now a third! If you remember what STAR 95.7 was like, that's the station that got changed. 93.3 is OK, but too much Top 40 for my liking. And BJ is gone now, it's just MJ and he's getting way too cocky for his own good. Maybe another new station will pop up!

P.S. How long ago did you live here??

I never bother with the radio, except sometimes the digital radio stations we get with Sky Digital, as some of them have very little talking between tracks, and are quite good.

I just play CD's instead, because then you get your own choice of music...and with MP3 CD's you can get dozens of full albums on 1 disc (quality dependant of course)

Oh yea, In 1999 I went to a concert star 95.7 put up. Had lots of rock bands and stuff like that. It was pretty good. I knew about BJ being gone, I lived there when that happened. I heard that station is going downhill. I used to live in Brandon. Pretty sure you know where that is.

supply and demand folks.

supply for rock station goes down, demand for hip hop stations go up.

it's the music business not the music charity so u cant blame anyone.

as i said. it's easier to get lots of people to listen to easilly accesible pop than rock music.

I could understand if we had an overabundance of rock stations, but we don't. We've got two hip hop/rap kind of stations and another top 40 that plays a crap load of hip hop. Now, we have another. Oh well....life goes on.

your missing the point. it they feel that there isnt a big enough audience for a rock station or they can get more listeners and as a result more ad income from playing hip hop then they're going to do it.
