I just wanted to say that it was amazing the big solidarity around all this drama, if each time so much people are here against the danger, things could finished better sometimes. I have two children, and i can imagine the parents of Holly an Jessica knows they were not alone, they were helped by a lot of people they've never see for some of them before, IT'S GREAT ! because sometimes in these so sad stories, research begins too late, it's a shame but it wasn't the case here.

but i can't understand why persons who have already done things to children are free, and can life without any surveillance and treatment, AND ... WORK in a school !!! it's completely amazing,

there's nothing else to say, i think we all know sad stories like this one ;
we have to take care and protect all the children, not only ours, keep your eyes open, always protect innocence.

Mike,do you know that where that sicko is being held costs £2,000 PER WEEK?And that's for every one of the other people there at Rampton Hospital.Guess who are the ones who are REALLY paying for that - us tax payers and that is so annoying that we're the ones paying for his keep there.

Tell me about it. I can think of so many better causes for that money (our money). Thats why capital punishment is so much better. You only have to pay for the rope (& a small admin fee).

PPL say there is no evidence that Capital Punishment reduces crime. In the words of Alan Partridge 'It'd reduce it by one'

i must say i take a utilitarian view here by saying go with what will make the majority of the population want. who cares if capital punishment doesn't reduce crime. nothing does in reality. if crime happens it happens. the whole point of capital punishment is that its PUNISHMENT not capital detterance.

Well this is very SAD actually the people who have done this awful thing should get the death penalty. Although i know there isn`t one in England. Best luck for their families.

Thierry,this country of ours is too soft on sickos like the ones who kidnapped and killed Holly and Jessica.Admittingly,the guy who murdered Sarah Payne in July 2000,has got life in prision though.But alot of them only get a few years at most for their sickening crime
