i knew many young girls and boys (neighbourhood - friends of my younger sister - children of friends etc ...) who went to find me to ask me different things .... they know they can talk with me i won't tell their parents, a 15 years old boy told me he thought with the pill a girl is protected from aids ! a girl who was 17 didn't want to ask the pill to her mother so when the bf didn't want to buy any condom, (she was too embarrassed to do it) then they didn't have any protection, they were together from 2 months ....
both were at school and did have sex education .....

Hasn't that been the case for years?? The Uk has always had the highest teenage pregnancy and the highest abortion rate. Has nothing to do with slappers, has to do with the backward way the educational system goes about sex education and the age of consent. If you treat sex as a taboo and not give good advice about contraceptives you will keep this problem.

we do have education in our schools though
Sorry, tend to disagree there. I did my dissertation on sex education in schools, specifically about section 28. You'd be surprised what some of the students actually said. Some of them had never received sex education and a lot said that the teachers were so embarressed talking about it that it was pointless. Believe me, if kids were receiving good sex education, the teenage pregnancy rate would lower.

i have a funny story

me and my friends all did Additional Maths at GCSE which meant that for 2 years we missed RE, Citizenship, Sex Education and also sorts of other "moral preaching" lol

fortunately we weren't idiots though so we knew anyway

True Jess, there are always exceptions to the rule. Holland has the lowest teenage pregnancy in Europe, but it still happens here too!! You would think though with AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases that people would be smarter and would use protection, pregnancy is the least of your worries!

Sex education is a waste of time, if You have unprotected sex you more than likely will become pregnant, everyone knows this so stupid lessons wont stop it, most girls of 14 and 15 are sluts anyway
