Too bad its a draw at end, Katich's knock in first innings was the saviour of Aussie , otherwise India would have let Aussie bat again. But at the end fair result and What a fairwell for Steve, he derserve it more then anyone.
Now it look weird without Steve in test side, especally afterseeing in Aussie team from my childhood.

I'll say! In fact, I think once I can remember when there was a Test without either of the two Waugh twins in it....oh well, I guess times do change.

We'll miss you Stevie, you were the best!

Ahhh go Aussie go. With a win in the series opener for the one-dayers. Good battle in the end. Great batting from Symonds and Clarkie, disappointing about Bevan going out cheaply though.

Indian just gifted first match to Aussies. But it may be better to losse first one, coz it will give a kick they need for second one.

...........or it will give the Aussies more of a booster, which it will, and be even harder to beat. I'm looking to see what Zimbabwe can do to the two juggernauts of international cricket, I want them to do well. With players like Heath Streak, Andy Blignaut, Price, Grant Flower, and co. it should be an interesting triangle of matches.
